We go back to basics with the new meditation this week, Begin with Attention. Learn the foundational skill of mindfulness: sensing and knowing where your attention is in each moment.
This meditation has options for 5, 10 and 15 minute lengths during which Emily will walk you through a number of attention points, from sound to breathing, and you'll practice noticing where your attention is. As Emily says, "One way to develop mindfulness is by getting to know the thinking mind and how it interacts with the world." Practice this meditation repeatedly over time to get to know your own mind patterns.
